Notary services are available to Livingston residents only.
Notary services for residents are available through the Township Clerk’s office at Livingston Town Hall, 357 S. Livingston Avenue.
Please review the information below and follow the instructions before visiting Town Hall to request notarization of signatures on your documents.
Notary services for residents are offered only during the following days and times:
Tuesday, 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Wednesday, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Thursday, 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Residents should always call the Clerk’s Office at 973-992-5000 ext. #5400 beforevisiting during at the designated times, as the Notary’s availability may vary. There is one Notary on staff.
What to Bring
Identification: You must show acceptable official identification that includes a photo, signature, physical description of the individual, and issuing authority in order to receive Notary Services. Examples include:
New Jersey driver’s license or official non-driver’s ID
U.S. or foreign passport
U.S. military ID
Note: the following documents are unacceptable as identification: Social Security cards, birth certificates, and credit cards.
Documents to be signed: Bring all unsigned documents that are to be notarized. Documents must be signed in front of the Notary; do not sign your documents in advance.
Fee: There is a Notary fee of $2.50 per page, payable in cash only.
