To continue to maintain the standards of performance for Public Health Services for the Township of Livingston that meet the legislative intent as set forth in local health services as described in the “Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health in New Jersey.” This includes but is not limited to disease prevention and promotion of physical and mental well-being, welfare and social services, education and enforcement to assure the highest quality of life for the residents of Livingston and the communities in which we serve.

Livingston Township is currently conducting a deer management program from today until Feb. 15, 2020. During this time the public will be prohibited from certain areas for the duration of the management program until Feb. 15, 2020. These areas include; Prospect Park, the Dog Park, Northland Park, Eisenhower Parkway behind the Northfield Fire Station, the area of Cornell Drive, Veer Terrace and Dougal Ave, East Orange Water Reserve, and parts off of Laurel Ave. Also affected is the area behind the Livingston Senior Community Center on Friday afternoons-Saturday evenings only. The Livingston Police Department will be overseeing the program for safety and only bow hunting is allowed.
