Open Space Trust Committee
The mission of the Township’s Open Space Trust Committee is to investigate available properties in Livingston and make recommendations to the Township Council on the advisability of having the Trust purchase those properties for Open Space preservation or for conservation, recreation, or permanent preservation.

Prospect Park Committee
The Prospect Park Committee members are working to make the park more accessible to the public by building multi-purpose trails. Doing so will allow Essex County residents to enjoy 29 acres of forest right here, at home.

Recycling & Reclamation Committee
The Livingston, New Jersey, Recycling and Reclamation Committee was originally formed February 2009. Since then, we’ve all come a long way in terms of recycling. The Committee continues to research, practice and teach ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Senior Advisory Committee
The Senior Advisory Committee was created by the Township of Livingston through the Senior, Youth and Leisure Services to receive feedback and suggestions from senior residents on present and future senior programs and activities.

Technology Committee
The technology committee enhances the community website, provides leadership on new technology initiatives, and improves the Livingston government through technology.

Trails & Greenways
The Livingston Open Space Committee and Livingston Environmental Commission worked together with the Morris Land Conservancy to develop a Trails and Greenways Plan for the Township.

Vision 20 / 20 Committee
The purpose of this committee is to create a long-term vision for the Township of Livingston that will improve the quality of life for the community, its residents and businesses.

Zoning Board
The Zoning Board of Adjustment hears and decides appeals, handles requests for interpretation of the zoning map or ordinances, and grants variances. The Board is governed by State Law and has seven members.
