How Books Become Books

Sunday, October 14, 2018

Have you ever been curious about how book publishing works? Join Carole Lowenstein for an overview of what happens when authors submit manuscripts for publication -- how the publisher turns them into finished books, and then simultaneously into eBooks.

Carole Lowenstein is Vice President, Executive Design Director at Random House, where she has worked for 45 years. She has won design awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Bookbinders Guild. Among the many, many authors whose books she has designed are James A. Michener and Tom Brokaw.
