“ASK the PHARMACIST” sponsored by the Senior, Youth & Leisure Service Department and the Livingston Municipal Alliance, will take place on Monday October 26, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the LSCC, 204 Hillside Avenue A light lunch will be served. Please bring all your medications, herbs, vitamins and over-the-counter drugs and have a certified pharmacist answer questions and inspect your medications to insure they are not expired and will not interact with each other. Advice will be given on how to keep all items in your medicine cabinet safe from “inquisitive” grandchildren and other visitors. Instruction will be offered on how to dispose of your drugs in a safe, harmless manner that does not pollute the water supply. You may bring your expired or unused medicines to the program and they will be disposed of for you. Although there is no fee for this program, we ask that you register at the Senior, Youth & Leisure Service Department office by calling (973) 535-7925 or stopping by.
