Composting is taking your food and yard wastes and recycling them
into a humus-rich material that can be used as a soil amendment
in your garden or lawn.
Livingston’s
Composting Promotion Team, also known as the “Rot Squad,”
wants to help you get started! We organize workshops, tabling,
and other public education opportunities to explain the basics
of composting and to encourage people to compost. Members of the
team are also available to help you personally, whether that means
answering questions or going to your house to assist you.
