MANAGEMENT

For
the first time this year the Township of Livingston will be participating
in a deer management program on the East Orange Water Reserve
properties.
The
hunting will be conducted during the regular state hunting season
and only by authorized experienced bowhunters. Hunting will start
on November 13, 2009 and continue through February 20, 2010.
The
hunter’s activities will be monitored by our local police
department and the hunters must comply with all state hunting
season laws enforced by the NJ
Division of Fish and Wildlife. Venison from the hunt will
be donated to area food banks.
