| MENTORING
The Results Are In
And the survey says that
Livingston students share a strong interest in exploring
career mentorship opportunities with local adults and a mild
interest in discussing health issues in certain grades.
The Mentoring Champions have begun to outline a 3-prong
approach that would deliver the programs identified through
the survey. Details of the programs will be available
in an upcoming edition of this newsletter. For
in-depth results of the Mentoring and Teen Center/SkatePark
surveys, visit http://www.livingstonnj.org/hchy.htm | |

Plans are underway for
the 12th Annual
Livingston Youth
Appreciation Week
Join us on
Monday, May 21st through Monday, May 28th as we recognize the
youth of Livingston by celebrating their achievements and
contributions to our town through a week of fun-filled
activities and events designed to support youth, strengthen
families, and foster community
spirit. With a Family
Festival, Movie Under the Stars, Family Camp Out, Harlem
Wizard's Basketball Clinic, Lance's Lounge, Mall Scavenger
Hunt, Cole Brothers Circus, Memorial Day Parade, and MUCH
more, there is something for the kid in all of
us!
A search is currently underway for
a few good men, women, and
their families who are active members of the military,
guardsmen, reservists, or military academy students. The
evening of Thursday, May 24th is being set aside for a
reception to honor these heroes.
