What is success?

To laugh often and much;

To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;

To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;

To appreciate beauty;

To find the best in others;

To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;

To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived;

This is to have succeeded.

Neighborhood Coffees

"The Stress of Success"

     HCHY's Strong Families Committee has organized a series of Coffees designed to facilitate dialogue between adults and young people and to foster strong, supportive relationships throughout the many neighborhoods in Livingston.  Coffees will be scheduled during the weeks of March 10 and March 24 including three community sites (March 13th at Temple Emanu-El; March 25th at the Federated Church; and March 27th at Monmouth Court).  Volunteer residents will serve as hosts, discussion leaders and student consultants.  If you are not contacted by a host in your neighborhood by March 7 and wish to attend a Coffee, please contact Robin Beckerman, Strong Families Co-Chair at 973-535-1726 or rgmz4@aol.com  who will direct you to one being held near you.
