Collection Bags for Residents
on County Roads

COLLECTION 2007 EXTENDED
Leaf collection will be extended an
extra week due to the warm weather. For sections 1, 2
and 3, the schedule is as follows:
12/3 through 12/9 - residents
can place leaves in the street
12/9 through 12/16 - the Department
of Public Works will collect the leaves
All residents are urged to put their
leaves in the street as soon as possible so that the
DPW can complete leaf collection in a timely manner.

Section 1: Area north of East Mount Pleasant
Avenue.
Section 2: Area south of East & West
Mount Pleasant Avenue and north of East & West Northfield
Road.
Section 3: Area south of East & West
Northfield Road and West Mount Pleasant Avenue west of the
traffic circle.
The final date that leaves may be placed in the gutter
for collection on municipal streets is December 2, 2007.
All persons residing on Essex County roads and State Highway
Rt. 10 (East/West Mt. Pleasant Avenue) are required to place
leaves for disposal in paper bags which have either been provided
by the Township or their equivalent. The collection of bagged
leaves will only be done on County and State Roads. No leaves
for disposal may be placed at the curb line on county and state
roads.
Essex County Roads in Livingston are Beaufort Avenue, East
Cedar Street, Eisenhower Parkway, East and West Hobart Gap
Road, Kennedy Parkway, Laurel Avenue, South and North Livingston
Avenue, East and West Northfield Road, Old Short Hills Road,
Parsonage Hill Road, Passaic Avenue, Shrewsbury Drive, South
Orange Avenue and Walnut Street.
Leaf collection on Essex County Roads and State Highway Rt.
10 will occur once per week during the 2007 leaf collection
season.
The final date that paper bagged leaves may be placed
at the by the curb for collection on Essex County roads and
State Highway Rt. 10 is December 2, 2007.
