ICE SKATING ON LITTELL'S POND, 2009 Beginning January 31, 2009, authorized skating on Littell’s Pond (Memorial Park) is open to anyone when there is five or more inches of ice.  Please do not risk the safety of your children.  Respect the “No Skating” sign attached to the light pole when posted.  Call 973-535-7925 and press “4” for weather information for current skating conditions, Monday through Friday. Please check posted signs on Saturday & Sundays for current ice conditions. Please DO NOT call the Police Department for pond skating conditions.  When skating is permitted, the hours are 11:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday; 11:00 to 5:00 Saturday through Sunday.
