RECEIVES SAFETY AWARD
Livingston was presented with a check for $1,776 at the Township
Council meeting on Monday May 3, 2010 for achieving Levela A and
B in the 2009 Safety Incentive Program for the Garden State Municipal
Joint Insurance Fund (JIF). The award was resented by Walter Reibrich,
CPSI, senior risk control consultant for PMA Management Corporation.
Livingston mayor Arlene Johnson explained that the program was developed
to reward those communities in the JIF who implemented procedures
and programs to reduce the frequency and severity of injuries and
incidents.
