The Planning Department serves
as the professional and administrative staff to the Livingston
Township Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment. This
office also provides assistance to residents, businesses, and
builders relating to a variety of land use issues.
Applicants are always encouraged
to meet with the municipal staff prior to filing an application
for development. Appointments for such meetings can be
arranged by calling Debra Coonce at 973-535-7954. Along
with the application forms and checklists, we have included
a separate list of municipal
contacts with names, addresses and telephone numbers
to assist you in this process.
In addition to reviewing and acting on subdivision
and site plan applications, the Planning Board is also charged
with the adoption of the Township Master Plan and making recommendations
to the Township Council.
