TRAFFIC BUREAU   The Traffic Bureau coordinates many aspects of roadways and motor vehicle traffic within the Township. The Traffic Bureau coordinates the deployment of the speed limit advisory trailer, conducts child safety seat inspections, works with the public on roadway safety concerns, and determines the need for additional enforcement activities in problem traffic areas. The unit also coordinates traffic control plans for roadway construction projects and assists the Patrol Division with severe, fatal and complex motor vehicle crash investigations. The traffic officers have received extensive training in vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle crash investigation and reconstruction. They also review the need for additional or revised traffic control signs and regulations and examine traffic flow patterns and conduct speed and volume studies.
