Seek Volunteers to Aid Domestic Violence Victims

The Livingston PD is seeking volunteers for its Domestic Violence Response Team, to help counsel victims of domestic violence and give them support.

Volunteers, who must live or work in Livingston, must attend a 40-hour training course. For more information, or to register, call Sergeant Anthony Dippold at 973 992-3000, extension 2204.

Livingston Auxiliary Police NEEDS YOU

The Livingston Auxiliary Police are looking for new members. If you are a US citizen, live in Livingston, are 21+ years old and have a valid New Jersey drivers license you may qualify for membership as an Auxiliary Police Officer. For more information call 973 992-3000 ext 3100.

Vacant House Form

Livingston residents may submit the vacant house form when their home will be vacant for an extended period of time, such as during vacations. The vacant house program enables a police officer, during his or her normal patrol and when time permits, to check vacant houses.

Residents need to complete a few simple steps to utilize this program:

  1. Complete the form online and print it out
  2. Bring the form to Police Headquarters
  3. Sign a release form and attach a $1 processing fee

This can be done 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
