SENIOR,
YOUTH & LEISURE DEPARTMENT
ABOUT
US:
Livingston is proud of its creative
and expanding world of recreation, brought to residents by the
Recreation Advisory Council and the Department staff. Most programs
are open to Livingston residents only.
Major renovations have been
made to some recreational facilities to accommodate people with
physical disabilities. Northland Center and both pools are ramped,
have accessible bathrooms, and a pool lift. Monmouth Court is
accessible on the lower level. Please contact the coordinator
for handicapped services at 973 535-7961 x231 with any specific
questions regarding services for people with disabilities.
Watch for the Department's
seasonal brochures, notices on this website, and announcements
in the West Essex Tribune for updated and additional information.
Brochures are available at Town Hall, the Library or Recreation
Office. Age appropriate brochures are distributed to school children
in September and January.
Your comments and suggestions
for new programs or improvements are invited. Please call us at
973 535-7925 or email us at recreation@livingstonnj.org.
