CEREMONY OF REMEMBRANCE A “Ceremony of Remembrance” will be held by the Township of Livingston on Saturday, September 11 at 7:00 PM at the 9-11 Living Memorial Garden located next to the gazebo at the Memorial Park Oval. This event will be held rain or shine. Please plan to attend to show that Livingston Cares and Never Forgets! The ceremony will include brief remarks from Township officials and community members followed by the tolling of a bell while eight white roses are placed at the base of the monument in the center of the garden. The monument is constructed of steel that was removed from Ground Zero. The service will conclude with a selection of songs sung by members of the Livingston High School chorus.
