Using water efficient shower heads, sink aerators and toilets

Water Savings Kit Saves Water and Energy
The Water EcoKit Archuna Chiplunkar won for participating in the "Fix a Leak Week" will offer water savings and energy savings which will mean cost savings for her family.  The Water EcoKit contains the following items designed to save water and energy.

Earth Msssage Showerhead

1.5 gpm Earth Massage Showerhead - Hot showers cost you money, both for the water and the energy you use to heat it.  A modern, efficient showerhead will help you enjoy a full-force shower while you save water and cut your energy bill.

Bathroom aerator kitchen aerator
1.0 gpm Bathroom Sink Aerators and a 1.5 gpm Kitchen Swivel Aerator  - A conventional sink aerator uses an average of four gallons of water per minute.  Sink aerators are easy to install and can reduce the flow to one gallon per minute and save energy by reducing the amount of hot water used.

Toilet water saver

The Toilet Water Saver (Fill Cycle Diverter) takes excess water from the bowl and diverts it to the tank to reduce excess water consumption.  It saves up to 50% of the fill cycle water or up to ½ gallon per flush.

Consider making these changes in your house to save water, energy and money!
