Registration
for Recreation Department-sponsored activities for Teachers Convention
Break is now open at the Senior, Youth and Leisure Service Department
Office, 204 Hillside Avenue. Office hours are Monday through Friday,
8:30AM – 4:30PM and Saturday, 9AM
– 1PM.

Fall
into Crafts: For those in grades 1-6. Come join us for
an Autumn Art Experience. Make and take home a fall wreath and other
fun projects. This program will be held from 9:00 am – 10:30
am on the lower level of the LSCC. There is a fee for the program
and registration is required.
BINGO!
Open to grades 1 – 6. Prizes for winners! This is a drop-off
program. No registration or fee is required. Children coming for
both programs may stay in the room between events. Supervision will
be provided.

Chess
Tournament for grades K – 6 will be held from 12:30PM
– 4PM. Participants will be grouped with players of their
own ability level. Trophies awarded to winners. There is a fee charged
and pre-registration is required.

Sciensational
Workshops for Kids, Inc. is back with the following fun new program:
You
Can Dig It Fossil Hunt – Do you Dig Dinosaurs?—For
ages 6 - 11. Participants will partake in a simulated fossil excavation,
uncovering the different bones of a dinosaur, and then assemble
the bones to form a completed 3–dimensional dinosaur to be
taken home. There is a fee and pre-registration is required. The
workshop will be held in the lower level craft room at the LSCC.
