Effective May 8, 2020: All Township of Livingston offices and facilities will be closed to the public until further notice. See 4/17/2020 notice for information about municipal services and departments.

Effective April 17, 2020: All Township of Livingston offices and facilities will be closed to the public until Monday, May 4, 2020 at 8:30 a.m., subject to further extension as circumstances dictate. Township Departments will remain staffed to ensure the continued delivery of essential services. Staff will remain available through phone and email, although there may be delay in response due to staffing and schedule modifications. Read more...

Municipal Sports Fields and Courts

Effective Monday, June 22, 2020: Township fields reopened to the public with COVID-19 restrictions in place. Read the rules (PDF).

Effective May 16, 2020: Livingston’s municipal tennis and pickleball courts will reopen with new COVID-19 rules in effect. If these safety and social distancing rules are not followed, the Township may close the courts again in order to prevent potential spread of the virus. Read the rules (PDF).

Birth, Death, and Marriage Records (Vital Statistics)

Effective July 20, 2020: The Bureau of Vital Statistics will be open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, records can still be requested by mail or email. Read more...

Effective April 17, 2020: The Bureau of Vital Statistics will be closed to the public along with most Livingston municipal offices until May 4, 2020, subject to further extension. Records can be requested by mail during this time. Couples seeking a Marriage/Civil Union License, and anyone who needs a Birth, Death, or Marriage/Civil Union record immediately, should contact the Township Registrar. Read more...
