Mobile App: COVID Alert NJ
COVID Alert NJ is New Jersey’s free and secure mobile app that anonymously alerts users if they have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. The app also provides NJ reopening news, key COVID-19 metrics, and a symptom tracking tool. COVID Alert NJ Mobile App (PDF)
NJ’s Road to Recovery
Governor Phil Murphy announced “The Road Back: Restoring Economic Health through Public Health” to start the State’s recovery. Six principles & key metrics (PDF) were issued to guide the process for lifting restrictions and restoring NJ’s economic health.
The certified tax rate for 2020 was announced. Final tax bills were mailed out and are available online for payments or inquiries.The 3rd quarter grace period has been extended to August 25, 2020 to pay without interest. If not paid by August 25, 2020, the interest will revert back to the original due date: August 1, 2020. Residents are encouraged to pay taxes online.

Small Businesses: Emergency Loans & Grants
The Chamber of Commerce created a guide to help small businesses, independent contractors, and gig economy workers prepare to file for a coronavirus relief loan. Additional State/Federal resources available. Plus: Livingston Community Partnership announced the Township Council’s LuvLiv Local Grant, which will provide qualified businesses with up to $1,500 to cover expenses that will be required for them to re-open their business.
