Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Livingston has three EV charging stations, located on the Northeast side of Town Hall at 357 S. Livingston Avenue. Residents can park in one of the designated spots to charge their electric or hybrid vehicle while visiting Town Hall or a nearby location.
The three dual-port level 2 charging stations are maintained by EVConnect, which is the NJ Department of Environmental Protection's (NJDEP) approved contractor. The cost of purchasing and installing the charging stations was covered by the NJDEP's Electrify America program. The Township is responsible for supplying and maintaining the supply of electric power to them.
Those taking advantage of the charging stations are reminded to reasonably limit their charging time so that others may also be able to use the stations.
