Planning Board

Regular Meetings

Currently, the Planning Board Public Meetings will be conducted in accordance with P.L. 2020 C.11, which permits VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARINGS.  Due to the Coronavirus and the declared State of Emergency, all meetings will be held remotely via Zoom until further notice. 

The public is invited to attend and participate in these meetings from a computer, tablet or smartphone.  Links for each VIRTUAL meeting can be found in the posted meeting Agenda.

All Regular Meetings and Workshop Meetings will be proceeded by a Conference Meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. Formal Action may be taken at any Meeting. Meetings are open to the Public in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act.

Responsibilities

The nine (9) member board with two (2) alternates primary responsibilities include: development and adoption of Livingston’s Master Plan, review of land use applications in accordance with state and local regulations, and recommendations of revisions to land use ordinances to the governing body.

Commercial/Site Plan Applicants

All commercial/site plan applicants are encouraged to meet with the Technical Review Advisory Committee (TRAC) prior to being scheduled for a public meeting. The Planning Administrator will determine if an application requires a TRAC review.
