Technical Review Advisory Committee (TRAC)

Meetings are open to the public in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act. Public comments and/or questions shall not be accepted during the TRAC meeting. For further questions pertaining to the TRAC, please contact the Planning Department at 973-535-7954.


The Livingston TRAC provides guidance and serves to assist applicants in submitting complete applications to the Board. The TRAC consists of the following:

  • Additional rotating representative from the Planning Board
  • Commercial Building/Site Plan Applicant(s)
  • Elected TRAC Chairman from the Planning Board
  • Fire and Police Chiefs (or Designee)
  • Representative from the Business Improvement District (BID)
  • Representative from the Livingston Environmental Commission (LEC)
  • Township Construction Official
  • Township Engineer

Commercial Building/Site Plan Applicants

All commercial/site plan applicants are encouraged to meet with the TRAC prior to being scheduled for a Planning Board / public meeting. The Planning Administrator will determine if an application requires a TRAC review.
