Drug Drop Box

Safe Disposal

The Livingston Police Department has two permanent Drug Drop Boxes in the lobby of Livingston Police Headquarters at 333 S. Livingston Avenue.

Residents can safely dispose of unwanted or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications - including pet medications - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Members of the Police Department worked in conjunction with the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team of Essex County (ADAPT) and the Livingston Municipal Alliance Committee (LMAC) to have the Drug Drop Boxes placed in the lobby of Police Headquarters.
