Recycling Events

The Township holds free “paper shredding and electronics recycling events” for residents 3 times each year, early spring, late spring, and fall. Check back for the dates of the next free paper and electronics recycling events for residents, which are held at the Senior/Community Center.

Electronics Recycling

We do not accept household hazardous waste including CFL lightbulbs, car batteries, or mercury-containing products. Acceptable items include:

  • Computers and components
  • Copiers
  • DVDs
  • Printers
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Small household appliances (toasters, vacuums, blenders, coffee makers)
  • TVs
  • VCRs

New Jersey E-Cycle

Paper Shredding

We invite all residents to attend the free Paper Shredding events to bring any of their papers that need to be shredded. There is a 5 box maximum and residential materials are only accepted - no business or home-based business materials are accepted. The following items will not be accepted:

  • Binders
  • Computer disks
  • Fastened documents
  • Hard-cover books
  • Paper clips
  • Pendaflex folders
