Come join the Livingston Symphony Orchestra to experience beautiful landscapes as conveyed by music! "Sonic Vistas" starts at 7:30PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Please join the Livingston Symphony Orchestra for its fourth concert of the 2022-2023 season, “Sonic Vistas”.
Using the art of musical tone painting, the audience will be taken on a "playcation" of beautiful sights and sounds of far-away lands and different cultures. In this concert performance, a Mussogorsky overture depicts a wistful musical sunrise over the Moscow River. Next, music by Borodin takes the audience out into the expansive grasslands of Ukraine, and a charming waltz by Strauss allows a peek into the gilded age of old Vienna. Finally, the Italian composer, Ottorino Respighi’s 20th century piece is full of vibrant sounds and colors that capture the beauty of the Roman landscapes.
The concert will be held on Saturday, June 10 at 7:30 PM in the Livingston High School Auditorium, 30 Robert Harp Drive, Livingston NJ.
Tickets will be available at the door, Adults $25, Seniors and Students $15. Children under 12 are admitted free.
