Livingston to Hold Second Public Forum on Cannabis Legislation

Town Council 2nd public forum on cannabis legislation - May 11, 2021 at 7 pm. Join via Zoom

Livingston Township will hold a second Public Forum on Cannabis Legislation on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 beginning at 7:00 pm (view on calendar). Residents interested in participating may do so via Zoom.

The panel will include Mayor Shawn Klein, Deputy Mayor Ed Meinhardt, Council Members Al Anthony, Michael Vieira and Rudy Fernandez, and Township Manager Barry R. Lewis Jr., along with Livingston Township Attorney Jarrid Kantor. 

The Township Attorney will explain the basics of the new marijuana law passed in New Jersey and review the specific options available that must be considered by the Township Council. 

This Public Forum will give those who missed the first forum on April 13, 2021 an opportunity to hear about the legislation and make a public comment.

Once the informational portion of the Forum is completed, residents are invited to comment or ask questions.
