The New Jersey Department of Health's Boost NJ2 Week is February 23 through March 1, 2022.

If you have completed the primary series of Covid-19 vaccination, getting a booster dose when eligible can help restore protection from Covid-19 that may have decreased over time since receiving your last dose.

Those who are eligible to receive a booster dose include:

  • Pfizer: those 12 and older once at least 5 months have passed since the date of your last vaccine dose.
  • Moderna: those 18 and older once at least 5 months have passed since the date of your last vaccine dose.
  • Johnson & Johnson: those 18 and older once at least 2 months have passed since you received the vaccine.

To find a Covid vaccine location near you and information about clinics that are offering walk-in availability during Boost NJ2 Week, visit covid19.nj.gov/finder

For more information about Covid-19 vaccines, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website at cdc.gov.
