[ARCHIVED] Indoor Walking Club Begins February 14

Winter Walking Club, Livingston Health Department. Picture of inside Livingston Mall, colorful figur

The Livingston Health Department will offer a free Walking Club this winter, beginning February 14. The Club will meet from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Fridays from February 14 through March 27 and is free and open to adults over the age of 18.

Participants will meet inside the Livingston Mall in front of the entrance to Lord + Taylor on the second floor and walk together for one hour around the second level of the Mall. Each circular lap around the second level is about 0.25 miles, and you may walk at your own pace.

Walking is a great way to get some exercise and offers many health benefits: it can help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce joint pain, improve balance, lower the risk of high blood pressure, and more.

Pre-registration for the Walking Club is required. For questions or to pre-register, please contact Jessica, Health Educator, at 973-535-7961 ext. 227 or
